Bloody chicken after cooking

I’m making dinner for tonight and I boiled two large chicken legs/thighs. I cooked them for some time and cut them open a little and everything looked cooked.

But then I cut deeper into them and a river of blood came out. I’ve never seen anything like it. I poured the blood out and rinsed the chicken and then more blood filled the cut, like I hit an artery or something.

Is this chicken still good to eat? What do I do to clean it?
